under the dome

What happens under the dome of the Capitol matters to every Mississippian – and every Mississippian matters to us.
When we first went under the dome during the 1992 session of the Legislature, we discovered a poverty of information was contributing to the continued poverty of our State.
under the dome, a public education service of the Mississippi Forum on Children & Families, opens the door to discussions of budget and policy that considers different points of view. We will offer fact and contrary fact on issues of everyday importance to the average Mississippian, along with any related history we’ve acquired over the past 18 years.
We welcome your questions, comments from all points of view and requests for information about specific issues and legislation – most of all, we welcome you.
